“If history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten.” Rudyard Kipling
Sometimes you wonder how much time you really need to fully experience the amazing places in this world. Machu Picchu as filled with experiences that expand it, starting with the Sacred Valley. The Sacred Valley had so many ruins tucked away to understand what Incan life was like. Tipon, Pisaq, Moray, on the way to Lares, and my favorite Ollantaytambo. Spending time in Cusco, learning some Spanish, seeing the Native Quechuan life and teaching English to many in tourism gave me a rich time to explore around. The pinnacles were Machu Picchu along with Huayna Picchu and Ollantaytambo! Grand views and manny ruins and weather always surprising.
